I worked as production artist and designer for The Onion newspaper back when it was a physical paper distributed weekly here in Austin. The back half of the paper was reserved for the local A.V. Club section with a calendar of events and editorial articles. I was responsible for designing the A.V. Club section cover and editorial features as well as designing local ads every week. My production art duties included fitting local content with national “news” content, pagination, file prep, and delivery to press on time every week.
I designed this editorial feature for the A.V. Club section of the paper.
