As part of my job at the Frank Erwin Center, I created and produced the UIL Basketball Championship programs for both the girls and boys tournaments for several years. The programs are 80 pages each and are among the more complicated InDesign pieces that I’ve produced. The covers and internal pages that were common to both the boys and girls programs were printed in advance. The team pages could not be produced until participating teams were determined one week before the championship. They had to be printed and then bound with the preprinted covers and common internal pages, so the production timeline was very tight. These pieces required good organization, speed, and accuracy, as well as properly produced files since there was little room for error.
